We’re the crew that shows up in Schertz, Cibolo, and Universal City when your attic’s running 140 degrees in July or your crawl space smells like last century. Every person on this page has passed a background check, wears the same uniform, and can explain why we seal before we insulate without using the word “synergy.” What ties us together is simple: we don’t start work until you’ve got a written price, and we don’t leave until you’ve got photos of everything we did.

Wes Okafor, Owner
I started this operation in 2016 after watching too many insulation jobs in Schertz get done backward - blow the material in first, figure out the air leaks never. Before that, I spent eight years doing building-envelope testing for a regional energy auditor, which is where I picked up the habit of talking about blower-door numbers at dinner parties. I hold a BPI Building Analyst certification and still climb into attics on about a third of our jobs because I don’t trust anyone else to spot a top plate gap I can’t see from the hatch. Off the clock, I restore vintage road bicycles and will absolutely tell you why fiberglass handlebar tape is overrated.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with us since 2019 and runs the crew on our bigger jobs - the full attic gut-and-rebuilds in the older Schertz subdivisions off FM 3009 where the original 1970s insulation has turned to gray dust. He’s certified in spray-foam application through Demilec and can dial in a rig for open-cell in a tight attic bay or switch to closed-cell for a rim joist without wasting half a drum. Marcus grew up in Converse and still lives there with two pit bulls who have their own Instagram account, which he does not run. He has a particular hatred of flex-duct crimps installed upside down, and he’s not quiet about it.
Diana R., Senior Installer
Diana handles our blown-in fiberglass and cellulose jobs, especially the retrofit wall fills in Schertz’s 1990s-era homes where the builder skipped exterior sheathing and the siding’s basically holding up the drywall. She’s Knauf-certified for blown-in systems and has a knack for spotting where previous contractors cheated the R-value by fluffing material - she’ll pull out her phone and show you the settled depth versus what the bag count says it should be. Before insulation, she spent six years in residential HVAC, so she understands why we’re sealing your return plenum before we bury it in new fiberglass. Diana keeps a collection of vintage band T-shirts and once saw Fugazi at the old Back Room in Austin.
James K., Service Coordinator
James is who answers when you call (830) 402-5240, and he’s the one who makes sure Wes actually shows up at your Schertz address and not your neighbor’s. He schedules the blower-door tests, tracks material orders from our Owens Corning and Johns Manville suppliers, and handles the photo documentation on every job - before, during, after, and the readings. James came to us from a commercial roofing outfit where he learned that “we’ll be there Tuesday” means nothing without a text when the truck turns onto your street. He’s the reason our customers get that text. He also brews aggressively hoppy IPAs and will trade you a six-pack for honest feedback on a new recipe.
Elena V., Apprentice Installer
Elena joined us in 2024 after completing the weatherization program at Alamo Colleges and deciding she wanted to work for a crew that actually tested its results instead of just claiming them. She’s currently certified in basic air-sealing and radiant-barrier installation, and she’s shadowing Marcus on spray-foam days until she earns her own rig certification. Elena grew up in a 1956 ranch in Live Oak with no insulation in the walls, so she has firsthand experience with what we’re fixing. She runs ultramarathons, which means she can kneel in a 130-degree attic for six hours without complaining, a skill the rest of us find slightly unsettling.
